| Being this close to the holidays, I thought it might be interesting to have folks share family traditions (whether they're holiday related or not). My family has always had a larger gathering Christmas Eve than on Christmas Day. Now that "us kids" are grown and have our own families, we have other Christmas Day obligations but we still try to spend Christmas Eve at our Parents' house. ... |

| My own brick wall comes from the parentage of my Great-Great Grandfather. Most of the online data lists David Prewitt as the father of William Prewitt, Sr. (my Gr-Gr Grandfather). William married Sarah DeMoss. Previous family history listed William's father as Elias Prewitt, who married Emiline Ashley. I have been unable to find any information on Elias and Emiline, so I'm not sure if that previous family history was accurate or not. ... |
